JUDGE’S PANEL

JUDGE’S PANEL: for each stage the panel of Judge’s will be as under:

Referees - 4
Scorer (Manual) - 1
Scorer (Laptop) - 1
Time Keeper - 1
Announcer - 1
Coordinator - 1

There will be centrally controlled computerised programming of the entire competitions.

  1. REFEREES:
    The Referees shall have number placard with them and as soon as the Announcer announces to show the number awarded to competitor for each asana, the number placard is shown to the scorer as well as to the spectators/ in case online Yogasana Competition the marks will be sent through chat box of the mobile to the laptop scorer.
  2. SCORER (MANUAL):
    Marks awarded to each competitor for each asana / Artistic event will be recorded by the scorer manually on the printed sheets provided by Yoga Federation of India with the name of the competitor/State/Event/Age group and other information.
  3. SCORER (LAPTOP):
    Marks awarded to each competitor for each asana / Artistic event will be recorded by the scorer on the laptop simultaneously linked with the master programmer.
  4. TIME KEEPER:
    The Time Keeper will record the time of the retention period for each asana/time taken by the competitor/competitors during National Artistic (Solo) /Artistic Pair/Rhythmic /Free Flow Yogasana Dance Competition with the help of stop watch and to inform the announcer, as soon as the time is over.
  5. ANNOUNCER:
    The Announcer will announce the name of the competitor as per list provided by the Yoga Federation of India. He / She will announce the name of the asana to be performed by the competitor one by one and will also announce ‘start’ and ‘relax’ for each asana with the coordination of time keeper.

    NOTE:
    REFEREE TO COUNT NUMBER OF ASANA:
    For National Artistic (Solo)/Artistic Pair/ Rhythmic /Free Flow Yogasana Dance Competition an additional Referee will be made to sit to record the number of asanas performed by the competitor/competitors as per separate sheet provided by the Federation and will coordinate with the announcer to announce.
  6. COORDINATOR:
    The coordinator will maintain the decorum of the stage of the competition; to give warning to the Judges if the difference of marks awarded by the Referees varies too much; to coordinate with all the members of the Judges Panel sitting for the competition. The coordinator will also submit the record of the competition after its completion to the office of the Federation.

    DRESS CODE FOR NATIONAL YOGA REFEREES: All the National Yoga Referees nominated by Yoga Federation of India in the panel of judges shall required to be present in the dress code of Yoga Federation of India which is black trouser, blue shirt and Federation tie during competition. The Referees will also wear the Referee ID Card issued by Yoga Federation of India.
